Well, its time for my semi-annual update. 'Cause seriously, I never seem to update. ;_; But no worries. I may be in another country, but that doesn't mean I can't post something sometimes (I miss you Aedan!). Granted, I did, like a week ago or so, but it was just a sketch. I'm gonna take some pictures of this place someday, and post some of those, and some how, some way, I'm going to draw something for the love of goodness.

Not much is going on around my side of the universe. Still crocheting--and at some point I'll post some of those projects here too--and working on making patterns myself. I won't lie, sometimes crochet makes me happier than drawing (if only because I actually crochet nowadays, and drawing makes me wanna stab myself in the eye half the time). I plan on eventually getting into knitting (actually knitting, instead of simple garter stitch scarves), tatting (oh the shuttles drive me nuts), pjoning (I'm actually playing around with it now--it's also called bosnian crochet, or shepherd's knit), nalbinding (oh the confusing awesomeness of it all), and of course sewing (embroidery, fashion, machine and hand...). I'm looking forward to it all.

But!

I haven't giving up drawing or writing (against all reason). I've recently looked at my uh recent works, and I'm surprised. It doesn't suck that much. I'm shocked. It certainly felt like it when I wrote it. So maybe I can get back into it. Apparently I'm not /horrible/ at it. Just gotta get my confidence back. We'll see. As for the drawing--well. I've been drawing. I have no scanner, and the stuff is often on lined paper. So I haven't upload much of it at all. But the good news is that I /am/ drawing. So who knows? I may someday update this place on a regular basis!

I can only hope.
